Check out the inspired work by Leonardo Ulian (@ulianleonardo). Italian-born, London-based artist creates art from radio and computer components.

We believe the technology behind the curtain deserves the same artistic appreciation as the front-end design. Website and graphic design combines function and beauty to create excitement, entertainment, and action.

“Technology should enable magic, not kill it.”

— Shilo Shiv Suleman

In an interview with Colossal, Ulian explains: “With the Technological Mandala series I combined the suggestive and spiritual meaning of the Indian Mandalas with something that has been perceived as far from that sphere of influence, technology.

“I wanted to show what has been hidden from the eyes of the consumer, representing electronic circuits as extraordinary objects where the perfection of the design can become almost something ethereal.”

“Form and function aren’t separate items. If we believe that style somehow exists independent of functionality, that we can treat aesthetics and function as two separate pieces, then we ignore the evidence that beauty is much more than decoration.”

– Stephen P. Anderson

“He who seeks truth shall find beauty. He who seeks beauty shall find vanity. He who seeks order shall find gratification. He who seeks gratification shall be disappointed.

“He who considers himself the servant of his fellow beings shall find the joy of self-expression. He who seeks self-expression shall fall into the pit of arrogance.”

— Moshe Safdie
