The Strategy

For over three generations, Bama Companies has maintained world-class quality while treating their team members like family. Yet their website’s dated design made it difficult for applicants to find correct job listings for each location. As a result, their HR team had to go through hundreds of applications at time to filter out ineligible candidates.

In addition to their website, Bama also needed a consistent branding system for their employee programs.

Aqua Vita Creative and Bama chose three tactics to do this:

The Execution

We applied Bama’s legacy of “people helping people be successful” to every aspect of their website, from careers to capabilities to community.

We redesigned their website from the ground up to make it more user friendly, responsive on mobile devices, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessible. Bama cares about their team, and we worked to reflect this care throughout the website’s design. As a result, their HR team can focus on the best candidates for each location.

We redesigned Bama’s hiring portal in order to direct applicants to important info and actions, reduce incorrect applications, showcase the benefits of working at Bama, and seamlessly integrate with their existing hiring system.

Consistency is a key part of Bama’s process, and we needed to reflect that in all of their branding and marketing materials. We created a branding system – including new logo designs and taglines for all of their employee programs – in order to mirror the quality they deliver in their products.

Before, each branch had their own logos and taglines, but none of them were consistent with the parent brand. Now, each logo works cohesively with the parent brand, and each tagline ties into Bama’s main mission: “People helping people be successful.”
