The Strategy
Nephrology Specialists of Oklahoma (NSOK) is a medical practice with three offices throughout northeastern Oklahoma: two in Tulsa and one in Muskogee. They needed a website that would be easy to use for their patients, who are mostly older adults with kidney issues.

The Execution
We’d designed their initial website several years ago, but it wasn’t mobile-friendly and the older theme meant it was difficult to update. With the rise in mobile usage over the past ~15 years and with staff changes on their end, it was important for us to get them a website that would be easy to update and easy to read for an older audience.
We cleaned up their old website, updated all the outdated plugins and removed a few that were unnecessary, upgraded their PHP, and converted their old theme to a mobile-friendly one with a visual editor. The visual editor makes it much easier to update how the site looks with just a few clicks.
The new website is also responsive, which means it looks good on devices of any size.
